IT'S HERE!! Our new light tackle boat -- HUNTER -- is 33 feet at the waterline and 37 feet length overall. 

Hunter is fully equipped with state of the art St. Croix gear, the latest Garman electronics and furuno radar. 

It can travel in excess of 50 mph when equipped with 30 rod holders, built-in fish boxes and generous amounts of room for light tackle anglers.

Of course, the award-winning light tackle champ, our very own Captain Jamie will be running the new boat.

New Light Tackle Fishing Boat

Chesapeake Bay Charter Services announces the coming arrival of our brand new light tackle fishing boat to add to our services. This will broaden the spectrum of what we can offer our customers on the Chesapeake and tours will be headed by our First Mate and award winning light tackle champ, Jamie Clough.

Jamie is the 2016 winner of the Kent Narrows Light Tackle Championship and has been on the team that won this prestigious tournament two out of the past four years. With his light tackle techniques and knowledge of the Chesapeake Bay, he has literally caught thousands of trophy bass. It's always an adventure when Jamie is on board!

We now offer many different options for catering while you enjoy your fishing trip -- from cold lunches, hot breakfast and hot meals prepared right on the boat. This was standard practice in years past, particularly in the 40's through the 60's but is now only practiced by a few charter boats on the Chesapeake Bay.  We like to keep the tradition going! 

If you choose not to cater on the boat, Kentmorr Marina has a very high-quality Restaurant & Bar along with a free beach at their dock. 

We are docked at Kentmorr Harbor Marina, just after the Bay Bridge.
